Meet the Mods

A Little History

Back in November 2006 we opened our doors to the Poker Community.  We have come a long way and have had two name changes.  Originally we were Sex With Stars as a satellite forum within Pokerroom and then independently when American politics started getting heavy-handed with American players and online gambling.  Unfortunately the "sex" part of our name caused issues *rolleyes*.  When the Cardroom was set up, our community extended its name from luvinpoker to luvinpokerplayers.  In technical terms  an affiliation exists between the community and cardroom.


Several of our Moderators have been with us since we took our independent baby steps :  WinJStar (owner), luvsluvin, Niccivan, Dreemer43081, Night Nurse (oh yes I was there at conception) and Nynus.  Valuable additions along the way include our IT wizard ely, Kellieintx, Wicked, voodoo1215, shebully, curtinsea, Mastro, and Harsea.  You can see we are a rare old mix of British, Australian, Canadian and just a few Americans thrown in for good measure.

Jen joined me in Good Ol' Blighty for a little bit of promotional work in January of this year.  And as you can see there is no sexism in Billingsgate or in gaming :p.  I simply decided I didn't want to put those charming girls to shame; hence the hiding of my assets :D.

I may have looked like the model above a few years back but I have no photographic proof; of course that is a dreadful shame (and a downright lie but shhhhh :p).  Nevermind, perhaps you'll find the likes of her moderating the LPP forum, so why not come and find out!  And if you don't?  You won't be disappointed at what you do find!  To continue the non-sexist theme, we have male Moderators as well as female.  All of us with fantastic assets...

Too much naughty adult innuendo?  In the forum we cater for all: political discussions; poker education; religious debates; poker chat; social discourse; poker news; personal issues; poker games; quizzes, jokes and inane threads; poker leaderboard; health, dating, cooking and sport; and everything connected with poker.  That's just the thread posting side of it.  We also have poker radio, poker blogs, a shoutbox, an arcade... tell you what... just come and find out!

Last and by no means least, we have our cardroom.  Do join us in the forum and on the felt.  Both cater for fun and free activity.
